    Our college Hosts Grand Ceremony for Its First Graduating Class of International Students

    Shaanxi Technical College of Finance & Economics held a grand commencement ceremony in the fourth-floor conference room of the administration building to celebrate the successful completion of studies by its inaugural cohort of international students. The ceremony was attended by President Cheng Shuqiang, Vice President Wang Yong, Director of Academic Affairs Liu Jun, Director of Student Affairs Qiao Jingce, and Deputy Director of International Exchange and Cooperation Yang Hua. Also present were key personnel from the International Education College, faculty representatives, and all international students on campus. The event was presided over by Vice President Wang Yong.


    In his address, President Cheng extended his congratulations to the graduating students and expressed heartfelt gratitude to the faculty for their support and dedication. He praised the students as "courageous explorers who persevered through linguistic and cultural challenges, diligent learners who nurtured their Chinese language skills with hard work, and ambassadors of friendship who strengthened the bonds between China and Thailand, and China and Pakistan." He encouraged them to maintain their passion for Chinese culture and serve as bridges for cultural exchange, assuring them that "Shaanxi Technical College of Finance & Economics will always be your home in China."


    Deputy Director Yang Hua subsequently delivered a special report on the design of the Chinese language teaching system and cultural practice activities for the academic year. He detailed the curriculum, schedule, and practical activity arrangements for the 2024-2025 cohort, highlighting how the structured program laid a solid foundation in language and culture, while immersive cultural experiences provided deep insights into contemporary Chinese culture.

    On behalf of all international students, Chen Lingyue shared her reflections. She expressed that the college not only imparted professional knowledge but also enabled them to appreciate the profundity of Chinese culture through diverse cultural activities. She fondly recalled her study experience in China and thanked the teachers for their dedicated instruction and meticulous care, which made her feel secure throughout her journey. She pledged to carry this warmth back to her home country, share her positive experiences, and continue promoting the story of her rewarding time studying in China.


    Vice President Wang Yong announced the list of graduates. President Cheng Shuqiang presented completion certificates to the nine international students and posed for commemorative photos with them. In closing, Vice President Wang wished them success in their future endeavors, encouraging them to continue serving as ambassadors of traditional Chinese culture, moving forward courageously, and contributing to both their personal dreams and the shared prosperity of China, Thailand, and Pakistan.

    In recent years, Shaanxi Technical College of Finance & Economics has placed great emphasis on the development of international education, continuously innovating its training models for international students. The successful implementation of this program, marking the college's first non-degree seeking international student cohort, signifies a new level in Shaanxi Technical College of Finance & Economics's capacity for international education services. Moving forward, the college will continue to enhance its internationalization efforts, providing high-quality educational services to more international students, allowing the seeds of friendship and cooperation to take root, blossom, and bear fruit across broader horizons.
