Shaanxi Technical College of Finance & Economics is a full-time public higher vocationalcollegeunder the administration of Shaanxi Province. Established in 1960, the institution traces its origins to the Shaanxi Finance School and has undergone several name changes, including Shaanxi Statistics and Finance School, Shaanxi Fiscal and Accounting School, Shaanxi Statistics and Finance School, and Shaanxi School of Finance and Economics.In September 2001, with the approval of the Shaanxi Provincial People’s Government and official recognition by the Ministry of Education, the institution was upgraded and renamed asShaanxiTechnicalCollege of Finance & Economics. The college is located at No. 1 Wenlin Road in the historic city of Xianyang, offering excellent transport links. This 10,000-square-meter facility is fully equipped to simultaneously accommodate 2,000 students for practical training across various disciplines. The research output includes more than 3,000 published teaching and research papers, featuring over 60 high-quality publications, 10+ papers in authoritative journals, numerous reprints in Renda Copying Materials, 1,000+ articles in core journals, and 50+ papers indexed by SCI, EI, CSCD, or CSSCI. Additionally, faculty have led 100+ teaching/research projects at departmental level or above, obtained 10+ national patents, and received multiple provincial awards for scientific research, outstanding achievements in philosophy and social sciences, and ideological-political work innovations. Leveraging its professional strengths, the college actively conducts research supporting regional economic development, having undertaken 20+ special projects for "Social Sciences Empowering High-Quality County Development."
