To further strengthen the international brand of ShaanxiTechnicalCollege of Finance & Economics and enhance the global competence of its students, a delegation of 15 students participated in a summer study program at Jeonbuk National University in South Korea. The delegation was led by Zhu Huabin, Deputy Secretary of the ShaanxiTechnicalCollege of Finance & Economics Party Committee, and Lei Jian, Party Branch Secretary and Vice Dean of theSchool ofJeonbuk atShaanxiTechnicalCollege of Finance & Economics.
During the study tour, Jeonbuk National University organized a diverse range of activities designed to provide students with a multi-faceted experience of Korean culture and customs. The schedule included immersive Korean language classes every morning. Conducted by experienced instructors skilled at creating an engaging classroom atmosphere, these sessions ensured active participation from every student. The students' strong language performance and the vibrant, interactive class dynamic received high praise from the teachers.The afternoons were dedicated to culturally enriching experiences, carefully curated to showcase Korean traditions. The itinerary included visits to theJeonbuk National University campus, Hanok Village, an ecological park, and the Central Museum. Furthermore, students gained hands-on experience through various cultural workshops, such as crafting traditional Korean bamboo fans, learning to prepare Bibimbap, traditional papermaking, and personal seal carving. These activities provided an entertaining and educational deep dive into Korean culture, offering invaluable first-hand experiences.
This study tour to South Korea proved to be an unforgettable journey that broadened the students' horizons, enriched their knowledge, honed their skills, and sparked a deeper interest in Korean language learning, creating lasting memories.
