As the first School of Emergency Management established among higher vocationalcollegesin Northwest China, it is strategically positioned in Shaanxi while extending its influence to surrounding provinces and municipalities. Planned with a high starting point and constructed to rigorous standards, the School adheres to the operating philosophy of "Based in Emergency Management, Oriented toward Emergency Needs, and Dedicated to Emergency Services." It has established a new tripartite development model that deeply integrates talent cultivation, applied research, and social service, committed to training high-quality technical and skilled professionals in emergency management who demonstrate comprehensive development in morality, intellect, physique, aesthetics, and labor.
The School deepens multidimensional collaboration among government, industry, enterprises, and thecollege, forming a new industry-education integration model characterized by "joint talent cultivation, shared process management, and mutual achievement sharing." In December 2023, it was approved for the "Emergency Safety Smart Learning Workspace Project" by the Ministry of Education'sCollegePlanning and Construction Development Center, leveraging consolidated superior resources to build a distinctive and widely influential talent cultivation base in emergency management.
The School places high importance on educational quality and has built a teaching team with rational structure and strong capabilities, where high-level talents constitute 50% of the faculty, injecting powerful momentum into teaching and research innovation. The School has secured over 20 teaching and research projects and obtained 5 authorized patents. Students are encouraged to actively participate in various activities to hone their professional skills and enhance their innovative abilities, having earned more than 10 honors at the school level and above, leading to comprehensive improvement in their overall competencies. In the 2025 Shaanxi VocationalColleges Skills Competition, teachers and students from the School participated for the first time in the Intelligent Aircraft Application Technology track and secured a provincial silver award, fully demonstrating the School's comprehensive strength and innovative vitality in the field of emergency management education.
