Guided by the educational philosophy of "Culture Conveys Truth, Art Cultivates Virtue," and underthe leadership of Honorary Dean He Xingwen—a Master of Chinese Arts and Crafts and inheritor of the intangible cultural heritage, Wheat Straw Painting—all faculty and staff are committed to cultivating talent for the Party and the nation. The School is dedicated to nurturing students' humanistic spirit, shaping them into high-quality, well-rounded developers of the new era who excel morally, intellectually, physically, aesthetically, and laborally.
The School offers fivemajors: Preschool Education, Artistic Craft Design, Visual Communication Design, Radio, Film and Television Production, and Converged Media Technology and Operation.
Adhering to the approach of "open-door, open-access, and internationalized education," the School has established an external expert database comprising kindergarten principals, masters of arts and crafts, technicaltalentsfrom broadcasting and film enterprises, creative directors from design companies, and university professors. It continuously organizes activities such as "Masters and Industry Mentors on Campus," dispatches teachers to participate in the "International Chinese Language Teacher Capacity Enhancement Training Program," selects outstanding students for exchange programs in South Korea, and leads students in study-tour activities. Faculty and students have received over 100 awards at various levels.
Through deep collaboration with numerous kindergartens, art and design companies, and news media organizations within and beyond the province, the School has established more than 70 off-campus internship bases, ensuring high-quality employment for its students. Additionally, the School serves as the development unit for 12 industry-academia-research bases, including the Shaanxi Provincial Skill Master Studio, the Shaanxi Provincial Social Science Popularization Base, and the Shaanxi Intangible Cultural Heritage Industry Promotion Association Base. It has also hosted more than 10 provincial-level or higher training sessions and competitions.
