January 7, 2025,His ExcellencyAbazbek Uulu Rasul, Deputy Minister of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic, led a delegation on a friendly visit to Shaanxi Technical College of Finance & Economics for discussions and exchanges. The delegation was warmly received byGao Yufeng, Secretary of the College Party Committee, and Wang Yong, Vice President. The meeting was also attended by relevant directors from the Academic Affairs Office and the International Exchange and Cooperation Office.

Gao Yufeng delivered a welcome speech on behalf of thecollege. He stated that China and Kyrgyzstan are connected through their landscapes, and the ancient Silk Road has witnessed the traditional friendship between the peoples of the two countries for thousands of years. In May 2023, President Xi Jinping held an important meeting with Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov in Xi’an, elevating China-Kyrgyzstan relations to a comprehensive strategic partnership in the new era, and announcing the establishment of a China-Kyrgyzstan community with a shared future based on good-neighborliness and shared prosperity, providing guidance for the development of China-Kyrgyzstan relations.We hope to seize this opportunity to jointly build a platform for educational exchange and cooperation between our two countries, and make every effort to advance the in-depth collaboration in vocational education between China and Kyrgyzstan. This initiative will provide strong talent support for fostering a China-Kyrgyzstan community with a shared future. Furthermore, as a vocational institution specializing in finance and economics, our college aims to focus on the internationalization of our academic programs. Guided by the principle of complementary strengths between partner institutions, we aspire to engage in exchanges and cooperation in areas such as joint program development, co-establishment of standards, faculty training, student exchanges, resource sharing, and the Qinling Workshop initiative. Through these efforts, we are committed to promoting institutional cooperation and exchange between China and Kyrgyzstan, contributing high-quality collaborative development for both nations, and gathering strength and wisdom for the shared glory of the Silk Road.

His Excellency Abazbek Uulu Rasul expressed sincere gratitude for the warm reception and spoke highly of the college's developmental achievements in recent years. He emphasized that with continuous growth in bilateral trade between China and Kyrgyzstan, vocational education plays a vital role in national economic and trade development. The Deputy Minister proposed exploring collaboration in taxation and finance, translating project outcomes into concrete results, and refining cooperation plans—particularly in formulating national vocational standards, facilitating faculty and student exchanges, and conducting skill training programs.Furthermore, he committed to actively promoting partnerships between Kyrgyz financial and economic institutions and Shaanxi Technical College of Finance & Economics, working together to contribute to the innovation and development of education in both countries.

During the exchange session, the Kyrgyz side proposed jointly establishing a "Qinling Workshop" with partner institutions in Kyrgyzstan, with both parties engaging in detailed discussions on specific arrangements. Following the meeting, Deputy Minister Abazbek Uluu Rasul and his delegation visited the college's Cloud Financial Sharing Center, Master Studio, Huawei ICT Industry College, Greater Finance Training Center, Calligraphy Room, and other practical training facilities to gain deeper insight into the development of vocational skill training at the college.

Our college remains committed to the philosophy of "open-door, open-access, and internationalized education," implementing the spirit of the China-Central Asia Xi'an Summit. We will continue to promote the global expansion of vocational education, advance the high-quality development of the "Chinese + Vocational Skills" education model in the five Central Asian countries, and actively leverage the significant opportunities presented by the Belt and Road Initiative.
